Quality Support and Housing

At the core of what we do is our commitment to providing Quality Support and Housing for the people we support. Our approach is centred around helping adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health problems to live independently, thrive within their communities, and achieve their full potential.

Tailored support for meaningful lives

We focus on supporting people who can benefit from both our Green Care and Supported Living services. Typically, this includes those with low to medium levels of need, who are eager to take an active role in their community. We understand that the people we support want more than just a roof over their heads—they want a home. They want to be empowered to live independently, have access to fulfilling jobs, and engage in meaningful activities that contribute to their community. Building significant relationships and being treated as equals is at the heart of this.

Aiming for outstanding care

We are committed to providing the highest standards of care, with the ambition for all our services to achieve ‘Outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Excellence is something we strive for every day, ensuring that we deliver support that is not only high-quality but also personalised to each individual’s needs and aspirations.

Co-production at the centre of what we do

Collaboration is key to our approach. We believe in co-production, where the people we support, their families, and our staff work together to design and improve services. This shared responsibility helps ensure that the support we offer is meaningful, effective, and truly tailored to individual needs. We are continually developing and embedding initiatives that promote co-production across all areas of our work.

Working with families

We understand that to provide support that is personalised and individual we must work in partnership with, listen to and involve our family members. We also know that establishing good communication is important and that a positive relationship with the team supporting your family member is the key to understanding how best we can support each person.

How are we working with families to ensure quality support?

In 2024, we will work with families to continue improving communication and develop a Camphill Village Family Charter.

We will also prioritise partnering with families and stakeholders to develop meaningful relationships and ensure we provide a life of opportunity for our community members.

Our vision for Quality Support and Housing is simple: to create environments where people can live with dignity, independence, and purpose. Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, we are working to build a future where every person we support can thrive.
