Sandra has been supported by the Trust for over 20 years, and a familiar face at Ashfield Gardens in Stourbridge for the last five years. But she is still learning new skills and pushing herself to try new things.
Our work has aways been rooted in nature, and the immersive nature of our social farms and gardens empowers people like Sandra to care about their own well-being, as well as the environment around them. You could help more people like Sandra connect with nature and live happy, fulfilled lives.
Providing purpose and opportunities
Our social farms and gardens help the people we support to become more confident, learning how to regulate their emotions through being outside and having hands-on, practical experience.
We believe that everyone deserves to have a sense of purpose and community, and the opportunity to access nature to learn, communicate, and join in with the cycle of life. That’s why it’s so important that places like Ashfield Gardens, and all our communities across the country, exist.
“I look forward to coming to Ashfield Gardens – to seeing the animals and being outside in the fresh air.”
Sandra, Stourbridge Community
