Cathy Dale is an Area Co-ordinator and joined the scheme in October 2018.
Cathy had previously worked with the scheme as an Independent Social Worker, undertaking care assessments. She was so inspired by the people she met and the person-centred model, she decided to join the team.
Cathy first qualified as a nurse before becoming a Social Worker in 1993. Cathy has worked on projects in both the voluntary sector and local authority, supporting people with learning disabilities of all ages. Cathy’s new role has motivated her to have refresher driving lessons and get a car.
In her spare time, Cathy is an Independent Advocate for a young lady with complex needs. She also enjoys weekends away and spending time with family and friends.
