Delrow location

Situated only 15 miles from the centre of London and just outside Watford, Delrow Community combines both the rural and urban and is home to 50 adults with a range of disabilities.

Supported living  

We support adults with various learning disabilities, mental health problems and autism. The higher hours of support are for people whose behaviours challenge and may present a risk to themselves or others. 

A fully comprehensive support package includes the choice of activities in our workshops where skills are developed, and friendships forged. 

Delrow Community is made up of 10 houses, 6 of which are on the Delrow estate with the other 4 on the surrounding lanes. Delrow offers support with accommodation to 50 adults with learning disabilities, as well as offering day placements to local people. 

The accommodation ranges from independent flats to shared houses of between three and 10 people. 

Green Care Programme activities 

We offer nature-based activities to the people we support and to those in the local communities. Find out more here. If you’re interested in attending one of our activities, please contact us.  

We have 63 people currently accessing our Green Care Programme activities: 25 day placements and 39 people who also live in the community.  

The activities we offer include:

• Nature-based arts and crafts
• Growing and horticulture
• Catering, food preparation and processing
• Creative arts for wellbeing

Extra community activities

We host many community events which everyone is invited to. These include Festivals and concerts in the Karl König Hall. In the summer we run day trips to the seaside and stately homes.

This shared community life where everyone is supported to live, learn, work and play together helps the people we support to lead a life of opportunity.
