Escape to the tranquillity of Botton Village, a Camphill Village Trust community nestled within the breathtaking North York Moors National Park, a designated Dark Skies Reserve. Join us for an unforgettable evening under a blanket of stars to connect with the cosmos.
Our laser-guided stargazing event will be expertly led by Sophie Caroll, an experienced science educator, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, and Associate Member of the Institute of Physics. Sophie will illuminate the wonders of the night sky and share fascinating insights into stars, planets, and constellations.
The Moon, along with the planets Mars and Jupiter, will be visible in the sky during this event, and they look incredible through our telescopes! In case of cloudy skies, fear not! We’ll retreat to our cosy planetarium, where Sophie will continue to unravel the mysteries of the universe through immersive visuals and engaging explanations.
Relax and enjoy the awe-inspiring view from comfortable deckchairs, and warm up with a complimentary cup of hot chocolate as you marvel at the beauty of the night sky.
