Get ready to vote

At Camphill Village Trust, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in shaping our communities and society. That’s why we have created an easy-read guide to voting. Our guide makes voting clear and accessible so you can confidently cast your vote.

There are 1.5 million people with learning disabilities in the UK, yet 25% aren’t registered to vote. We’re committed to changing that and making sure everyone’s voice is heard in the upcoming general election on 4th July 2024.

Here’s a quick overview:

  • Register to vote: Make sure you’re registered by 18th June 2024.
  • Choose how to vote: Decide between voting in person, by post (apply by 19th June 2024), or by proxy (apply by 26th June 2024).
  • ID requirements: If voting in person, remember to bring valid ID or apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate by 26th June 2024.

Your vote matters. It’s your chance to influence how our country is run.
