Earth Day
Marking #EarthDay in style, with a positive contribution to our local area and environment!
Botton Village community members, Stephen and Alan joined Trust colleagues Colin, Jemma and Dan and friends from Network Rail and Esk Valley Community Rail to give Danby train station some TLC.
The team weeded, planted, swept and tidied, whilst other volunteers painted and cleaned, to give the station a makeover. Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch at Danby Village Hall, before continuing the transformation in the April sunshine.
The work continues for our community members next week with some further work at our adopted station on the Esk Valley line, lookout for those updates. Well done to all involved, the results are superb!
