Our job opportunities

At Camphill Village Trust, we offer a wide range of job opportunities that are as unique as each of our communities, and the land and buildings we care for. Our roles often go beyond the ordinary, and everyone is connected to nurturing people, nature, and the environment. With a proud history rooted in the Camphill movement, our Trust has grown independently to support people with learning disabilities and autism across nine vibrant communities. As a well-established and forward-thinking charity, we offer stability, growth, and the chance to be part of a lasting legacy. Join us as we continue to innovate and build a brighter future together.

Even if a specific role isn’t available right now, we encourage you to contact us - we are always keen to hear from passionate individuals.

Supported Living and Green Care

As an adult social care provider with nine communities and services across England, we offer a variety of roles within Supported Living and social care. These include positions like support workers, team leaders, registered managers, general managers, care and support managers, and administrative staff. However, we are far more than just adult social care providers.

Our approach integrates social care with Green Care. Green Care is about the application of effective nature-based therapies and experiences to improve quality of life and outcomes for the people we support. Our Green Care programme offers nature-based activities for the people we support, and with it comes opportunities for Green Care team members, leaders on our farms and social gardens, and Green Care managers. These roles are vital in helping people connect with nature and thrive in their environment.

Additionally, we have a co-production team, where we work closely with the people we support to create a collaborative culture. Within this team, we offer roles such as regional co-production leads and ‘Life of Opportunity’ reviewers—people we support who help shape their own care experience.

Though our foundation is in adult social care, our job opportunities are diverse and far-reaching, extending well beyond traditional support roles.

Social enterprises and more

In addition to our core services, Camphill Village Trust operates several social enterprises within our communities, including cafés and shops. These enterprises provide valuable real-life spaces for the people we support to volunteer and gain work experience, while also creating job opportunities such as Retail Officer, Enterprise Lead, and café/shop staff.

One of our communities, Taurus Crafts, is also a visitor centre and home to Severnside Skills, an educational skills provider. Here, we offer a range of roles, including Social Enterprise Manager, Vocational Learning and Development Manager, Events Manager, and Vocational Skills Coordinator, all of which contribute to fostering inclusive learning and development.

Land and Estates

Our Estates Directorate at Camphill Village Trust oversees the maintenance, compliance, and strategic investment in our properties and land. This includes the operation of both farms and social farms, which provide meaningful work opportunities for those we support. The team also delivers horticultural and garden plans to support Green Care initiatives, while managing the environmental stewardship of our wider estate through responsible land management practices.

Our Estates sector offers a wide variety of roles across our nine unique communities. From the maintenance of our properties and land, managed by our PALS (Property and Land Services) team, to positions like Estates Coordinator and Regional Supervisor, we ensure our communities are well cared for. We also offer opportunities for Countryside Rangers, Growers and Assistant Growers, and agricultural roles like Herds Person and Farm Assistants.

All of these roles require a diverse skill set, including practical hands-on abilities in land management, agriculture, or property maintenance, along with problem-solving and teamwork. Experience in horticulture, conservation, or farming can be valuable, and a passion for working outdoors and supporting sustainable practices is essential.

Resources and Central teams

Our Resources and Central teams play a crucial role in supporting our communities and advancing our mission. As a charity, our Fundraising and Communications teams are vital in raising awareness and securing the resources needed to continue our work.

In addition, our Resources team encompasses a broad range of functions, including IT, HR (People), recruitment, finance, quality assurance, health and safety, and roles like quality auditors and PMO coordinators. These positions help ensure the smooth running of the Trust behind the scenes.

Many of these roles are remote, allowing team members to work from home, with occasional travel to our communities for meetings or support, providing flexibility while maintaining a close connection to our work.
