About us

Adult learning disability charity, supported living and Green Care provider

As a national adult learning disability charity and adult social care provider, Camphill Village Trust brings 70 years of experience, knowledge and passion to supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems and complex needs across England. We encourage the people we support to live their best, independent lives.

The philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, which focused on humanity and nature, inspired the Trust’s ethos. Today this is reflected by valuing everyone’s contribution, enabling personal pathways to development, celebrating the changing seasons, and respecting the rhythm of natural life.

We offer supported living services and a Green Care Programme, that integrates nature into our everyday lives, encouraging the development of new skills and independence. Alongside this, we also offer a Shared Lives scheme in the West Midlands.

We want to be leaders of the Green Care future – re-imagining an innovative, integrated, high-quality social care offer with the proven benefits of nature and the environment, resulting in A Life of Opportunity for people who access our services.
