We are excited to celebrate a very special jubilee as the Trust turns 70. However, as we look to the future our proud tradition of providing outdoor, nature-based activities will be more in demand than ever. With your support, we will be able to reach even more people.
Daniella, and people we support across all nine of our communities, can take part in a fulfilling mix of nature- based meaningful activities including gardening, music, textiles, crafts and pottery.

Daniella is autistic, and before she joined our community she struggled in a busy, mainstream environment, resulting in becoming anxious and overwhelmed. "I used to get cross, and I did not understand why. It made my head hurt and I got angry."

But at Delrow, she feels much calmer. Since joining the Trust, Daniella has been given the space to embrace the calmness and serenity that nature can offer in our rural Delrow community.

"Daniella is much calmer and less anxious, her mood has been stable, and she has not had any meltdowns since attending which had previously been an issue for her."

Daniella has met a range of different people which has increased her confidence and made her experience that much more fulfilling. Not only has Daniella been given the chance to shine - but she has also made our community that much brighter.

As Michele, Daniella's mum puts it, "She is keen to get involved in everything the community has to offer and overall, she has blossomed."

We’re thrilled that after 70 years, thanks to generosity of our supporters, we are still welcoming new members to our communities.

We reflect on our rich history - from our humble beginnings in Scotland where the first Camphill community opened, to now having nine communities across the UK. Please, consider supporting with a gift today so the Trust can be here for another 70 years of supporting more people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health problems to lead a life of opportunity.
